Frequently Asked Questions
Here we’ve answered some of the most common questions from parents.
About Our Programme & Academics
Our After-School Care Programme is exclusively for primary school students, from Primary 1 to Primary 6 (typically 7 to 12 years old).
Our afternoons are balanced and structured. A typical day includes: arrival and a healthy lunch to refuel; a quiet, focused session for Guided Homework; an Enrichment Hour with activities like STEMCO or Voices in Motion; and Outdoor Play to unwind and socialize before dismissal.
We go far beyond simple supervision. Our educators provide guided academic support, meaning they actively work with students to clarify difficult concepts, check for understanding, and ensure homework is completed to a high standard. Our goal is to build true academic confidence and discipline.
Not at all. For us, “play-inspired” means purposeful, hands-on learning. After focused academic work is done, your child engages in enrichment like our STEMCO programme, where they learn physics by building things. This active, engaging method makes learning effective and fun, preventing academic burnout while achieving serious results.
Enrichment Programmes
We believe in holistic development, so a diverse range of high-quality programmes is included for every student. This includes our Voices In Motion (public speaking), group Music Jam sessions, Character Development workshops, Social Media Literacy/Online Safety, and daily Sports & Outdoor Play.
For parents seeking to give their child a competitive edge, we offer specialized, high-performance programmes as optional add-ons. These include our flagship STEMCO Math & Science Olympiad training, formal Private Piano Lessons, and our academic-focused ACE Mandarin programme.
For New Primary 1 Students
Our programme is ideal for a smooth P1 transition. We focus on building the key skills a new P1 student needs: academic readiness through our structured homework time; social confidence through our group activities; and independence and responsibility. We help them adapt to the routine of a “big school” day in a nurturing environment. We call this our P1 Headstart focus.
Daily Life & Logistics
Yes, a healthy and nutritious lunch and an afternoon snack are provided daily. Our meals are provided from halal certified vendors.
We are very proud to have one of the largest and most secure outdoor play areas for an after-school centre in Singapore. We believe daily outdoor active play is essential for a child’s physical and mental well-being, and it is a core part of our daily schedule. Our indoor space is also thoughtfully designed with dedicated zones for quiet study, creative enrichment, and community dining.
Your child’s safety is our top priority. Our centre is equipped with secure-access entry and CCTV monitoring in key areas. All of our staff are trained in first aid and follow strict safety protocols at all times.
Enrollment & Fees
Yes, we understand that not every family requires a 5-day-a-week commitment. We offer flexible ad-hoc care options, such as daily drop-offs, subject to available vacancies in our programme. These spots are limited, so please contact our centre directly to inquire about current availability for our flexible arrangements.
The process is simple. The first step is to Book a Tour of our centre. This allows you to see our facilities, meet our team, and for us to answer all your questions in person. From there, we will guide you through the registration process.
As a private education centre, our programmes are not eligible for payment via the Child Development Account (CDA) Baby Bonus scheme or for government student care subsidies.
